Ferrari has unveiled the world’s first Ferrari-themed esports arena at Ferrari World Yas Island. The venue offers guests the chance to race across nine real-life circuits, including Monza, Imola, Silverstone, and Yas Marina, using 20 Gran Turismo and three Formula One simulators.
Unlike traditional esports venues focused on competition, the arena is designed as an immersive motorsports experience. Visitors can feel the adrenaline of race day and the pride of standing on a championship podium.
Design and features
UK-based agency Blacklist Creative commissioned ARAM, specialists in immersive gaming arenas, to develop the concept, theming, and schematic design. The arena incorporates a bold black-and-red palette reflecting Ferrari’s iconic identity, custom track-shaped ceiling lighting, and immersive LED walls.
Two simulators have been adapted for full accessibility, highlighting the venue’s commitment to inclusivity. The arena also features a scalable content structure, with new tracks rotating monthly to ensure a fresh experience for returning guests.
Bringing Ferrari to all ages
Rafal Mrzyglocki, CEO of ARAM, said: “Unlike a typical esports venue built for broadcasting or pro tournaments, this space was designed to make every visitor feel like a Ferrari driver. Whether you’re seven or 70, our design ensures you’re not just playing a game, you’re entering the world of Ferrari.”
ARAM has previously created esports and gaming environments for clients such as ESL, PGL, and HeroEsports, applying its expertise to bring a fully immersive Ferrari experience to Abu Dhabi. The arena represents a new chapter in blending virtual racing with the thrill of motorsports for fans of all ages.
