Hublot has teamed up with artist and brand ambassador Daniel Arsham to launch their first wristwatch collaboration: the MP-17 MECA-10 Arsham Splash Titanium Sapphire. Limited to 99 pieces, the 42 mm timepiece draws inspiration from flowing water, organic forms, and Arsham’s signature fictional archaeology.
The watch features a splash-shaped dial opening and Arsham green accents, echoing the kinetic beauty of water. Its sapphire crystal bezel, titanium case, and rubber components serve as a canvas for the irregular “splash” motif, allowing glimpses of the manual-wind Meca-10 movement through both the dial aperture and transparent caseback. Exposed H-screws, curved lugs, and the signature H-shaped clasp reinforce the watch’s technical pedigree.
Arsham’s design explores the concept of collapsed time, blending past, present, and future in a single object. While the MP-16 Arsham Droplet pocket watch explored this idea in form, the MP-17 Splash captures it in fluid case lines and dynamic cut-outs, letting wearers experience precision and artistry simultaneously.
Despite its avant-garde design, the MP-17 retains hallmark Hublot traits, including six H-screws on the bezel and back, and coordinated green accents on hands, markers, and power-reserve indicator.
Priced at $69,000 USD, the MP-17 MECA-10 Arsham Splash Titanium Sapphire is available exclusively at Hublot boutiques and authorized retailers.
