OMEGA is marking two decades of the Seamaster Planet Ocean with a full redesign, unveiling the fourth generation of the iconic diving line. The update introduces seven new Co-Axial Master Chronometer models built around three watch heads, each available with multiple strap and bracelet configurations. Together, they set a fresh direction for the collection while celebrating its long-running legacy.
Modern Architecture Meets Deep-Sea Performance
The latest Planet Ocean watches showcase a sharper aesthetic, thanks to newly shaped cases and reworked bracelets. These changes improve ergonomics and refine the overall silhouette, making the models suitable for both active diving and everyday wear. OMEGA also enhances the technical side, reinforcing accuracy, durability and underwater reliability through its Master Chronometer movement technology. Because of these upgrades, the lineup feels more contemporary without straying from the brand’s high-performance expectations.
Heritage Codes, Reimagined for Today
Even with the redesign, the Planet Ocean keeps its signature identity. Bold lines, solid construction and the collection’s unmistakable orange detailing stay at the core, preserving its ocean-inspired DNA. Several standout models highlight these vivid accents, connecting directly to OMEGA’s diving history. The balance of modern engineering and classic design cues positions the fourth-generation Planet Ocean as both a serious tool watch and a stylish everyday companion for collectors.
To celebrate the global launch, ambassadors Glen Powell and Aaron Taylor-Johnson lead the campaign—Powell wearing the signature orange model and Taylor-Johnson showcasing the blue variant. Prices start from $8,600 to $9,500 USD. The full Seamaster Planet Ocean lineup is now available through OMEGA.
