Charlton continues to refine its restrained approach to modern dressing with its Resort 2026 range, titled “Tangerine Palisade.” Rather than pursuing excess, the label frames summer wear around longevity, movement, and ease. As a result, the collection targets garments that transition smoothly across heat, travel, and changing settings.

Collection Direction

At the center of the range are long-sleeve shirts made from premium Japanese cotton. These pieces pair with board shorts that lean toward tailored silhouettes instead of traditional swimwear. Consequently, the lineup presents a relaxed uniform that balances leisure with structure. Throughout the collection, deconstructed suiting elements soften classic forms into fluid, contemporary shapes. Meanwhile, new seersucker designs sharpen the seasonal focus, particularly the long-sleeve camp-collar shirt.

Founder Henry Cousins’ recent travel shapes both material and narrative layers. Specifically, time spent in Japanese fabric mills informs construction and tactility. In parallel, a separate trip to Egypt influences the visual language through travel tees, a capsule cap, and limited photographic prints.

Extensions and Availability

That Egyptian influence also extends beyond apparel. Accordingly, the brand introduces Tangerine Palisade, a limited-edition fragrance developed with Raconteur. Bright citrus and spice lead into papyrus, fig, and pine, before settling on jasmine, frankincense, myrrh, and cedarwood. The release remains tightly controlled at 100 numbered bottles.

In addition, Resort 2026 marks the debut of the Charlton Sound System. The made-to-order speaker pair reflects the same focus on form and performance found in the clothing. Together, these extensions reinforce a broader lifestyle strategy anchored in controlled scale and considered design.
