HUMAN MADE has officially opened its first Southeast Asian flagship in Bangkok, marking a significant step in the label’s global expansion. Situated within Central Embassy—a high-end retail destination built on the historic grounds of the former British Embassy—the launch underscores the brand’s growing cultural footprint across Asia.
A record-breaking debut in Bangkok
The opening drew unprecedented attention, with more than 2,000 people reportedly queuing before 7 a.m. to enter via a lottery system—an unusually large turnout for the city’s retail scene. The response highlights the influence of NIGO, whose vision for HUMAN MADE continues to resonate with a global audience blending streetwear, heritage, and collectible design.
CURRY UP expands the brand universe
Adjacent to the retail space, HUMAN MADE introduces CURRY UP to Southeast Asia with CURRY UP BANGKOK. The restaurant blends neon signage with India-inspired motifs and a relaxed café atmosphere overlooking the store, reinforcing the brand’s multidimensional approach to lifestyle.
Visitors have described the space as akin to a “museum café,” যেখানে food, design, and fashion coexist. As a result, the concept extends beyond retail into a social hub, aligning with HUMAN MADE’s broader emphasis on community-building through immersive environments.

Thailand-exclusive designs and collaborations
To commemorate the opening, the brand released exclusive products tailored to the local market. Central to the collection is a pink elephant graphic—a nod to Thailand’s national symbol—reimagined through HUMAN MADE’s signature heart and animal iconography.
The launch also spotlighted a collaboration with KAWS, featuring limited-edition T-shirts that merge NIGO’s vintage-inspired aesthetic with KAWS’s globally recognized characters.
Cultural convergence at launch
The pre-opening event drew high-profile attendees, including Thai stars BamBam and PP Krit, reinforcing the store’s position at the intersection of fashion, pop culture, and regional identity.
