The latest Easter release introduces a monumental chocolate egg crafted by multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno, alongside a refined decorative piece. Designed to enhance shared seasonal moments, the collection blends haute couture heritage with elevated gastronomy.
The sculptural egg combines dark and white chocolate, while its design references a signature medallion finished with a bow. Inside, a variety of smaller treats continues the visual theme, featuring cannage patterns, button motifs, and “CD” initials. Moreover, these confections mix hazelnuts, almonds, puffed rice praline, and sobacha to create a crisp texture. As a result, the flavors reflect a strong connection to culinary craftsmanship.
Trompe-l’œil Craftsmanship in Focus
Alongside the edible centerpiece, the collection expands into decorative design with a detailed ceramic piece from the Trompe-l’œil line. Specifically, the artwork presents a lifelike hen paired with colorful eggs resting on delicate plates. In addition, the design draws directly from 18th-century trompe-l’œil aesthetics, emphasizing illusion and realism.

Because of its precise execution, the ceramic piece blurs the line between decorative art and playful display. At the same time, it reinforces a dialogue between visual creativity and culinary inspiration.

The chocolate egg is currently available at Le Jardin du 30 Montaigne in Paris. Meanwhile, additional creations can be found at Rue Saint Honoré in Paris, as well as at Harrods and New Bond Street in London.
