Saegusa Design has introduced a premium AirTag Carabiner that combines digital tracking technology with precision metalworking. Designed and hand-crafted in Japan, the accessory integrates Apple’s AirTag hardware within a hollow structure positioned between two CNC-machined layers.
Consequently, the design eliminates the need to transfer a separate tracker between bags or setups. Instead, the location device becomes part of the fastening mechanism itself, enabling tracking whenever the carabiner attaches to a bag or belt loop.
For everyday carry enthusiasts, standard plastic tracking accessories often interrupt the visual consistency of carefully assembled gear. Therefore, the new design emphasizes material quality and long-term durability while maintaining a refined appearance.
Three Material Options Reflect Different Design Priorities
The collection is available in three material configurations, each designed for different usage requirements. Meanwhile, the aircraft-grade Duralumin version focuses on lightweight performance and weighs just 0.59 ounces.
As a result, the aluminum-based model suits travel setups and cycling equipment where minimizing weight remains a priority. Alternatively, the untreated Brass edition weighs 1.7 ounces and caters to users interested in materials that evolve visually over time.


Designed to develop a darker patina through use and exposure, the brass version highlights the appeal of aging surfaces and material character. In addition, the Stainless Steel model weighs 2 ounces and balances mechanical strength with a polished industrial aesthetic.
Measuring 3.1 by 1.6 inches, the accessory lies flat against backpack straps and luggage handles. Consequently, the form reduces snagging while preserving a streamlined silhouette.
