Starbucks Japan has introduced the Starbucks Collection Rack, a self-assembly miniature display shelf designed to showcase the brand’s collectible merchandise while recreating the atmosphere of a full-size Starbucks store. Available exclusively to Starbucks Rewards Gold members in Japan, the display combines functional storage with a detailed retail-inspired design for collectors of the company’s miniature products.

Retail-Inspired Design Brings Miniature Collections to Life

The Starbucks Collection Rack recreates the familiar aesthetic of a Starbucks café through natural wood finishes and carefully considered architectural details. Side windows let natural light into the display, while an illuminated Starbucks sign adds a storefront-style feature that can be activated with a flick of a switch.

As a result, the display offers collectors a dedicated way to display miniature Starbucks merchandise, rather than arranging individual pieces on conventional shelving. Furthermore, the design aims to replicate the visual character of a full-size café in miniature form.

Modular Display Adapts to Growing Collections

Flexibility sits at the centre of the Collection Rack’s design. Notches integrated into the side panels allow users to reposition shelves into multiple configurations as their collections evolve.

Collectors can assemble the unit as a traditional display rack or transform it into a store-style counter complete with signboards. Consequently, the modular format supports different display preferences while accommodating expanding collections.

The rack has been designed specifically for Starbucks miniature collectibles, including Bearista figures, miniature Matcha Frappuccinos, and other items released through the Starbucks Rewards Miniature Collection series. Therefore, collectors receive a purpose-built display that complements the scale and presentation of these exclusive products.

Exclusive Release for Starbucks Rewards Gold Members

Access to the Starbucks Collection Rack remains limited to Starbucks Rewards Gold members in Japan. Customers qualify for Gold status after earning 250 Stars within a year.

Meanwhile, the exclusive release reinforces Starbucks Japan’s continued focus on collectible merchandise and member-exclusive products. Rather than functioning solely as storage, the Collection Rack extends the collecting experience by transforming miniature items into a curated retail-style display.

The Starbucks Collection Rack is now available exclusively through the Starbucks Rewards Gold membership programme in Japan.
