Running from July 6 to August 23, 2026, the summer festival introduces a programme with a particular focus on young people and families. Participants aged 6 to 18 can access skill-building activities, while artificial intelligence and innovation workshops provide technology-focused learning alongside cultural experiences.
The programme also features indoor sports, health and fitness activities, heritage crafts, community-focused pavilions, and specialist programmes designed to encourage learning and participation among younger visitors and families.
Traditional culture remains an important part of the experience, with heritage crafts and community activities connecting contemporary programming with Emirati identity. The Al Wathba Dates Festival, held from August 3 to 9, adds another seasonal element to the wider programme.
