Located in Dubai Sports City, ‘The Square’ is Dubai’s first plug-and-play outdoor venue.
With no dearth of music lovers in the city, Dubai is bringing more to the music scene of the region with the first plug-and-play outdoor venue—The Square.
Located at the Inspiratus Sports District, also known as ISD, in Dubai Sports City, the outdoor space is the first of its kind that can host a series of live shows by various event promoters and musicians, making it easy for fresh acts to come to outdoor space, plugin and just start jamming.
With live entertainment, international festivals, and concerts, all across a variety of musical genres, the venue promises a musical fiesta for all entertainment lovers.
But what’s more to the music venue is that the place is launching this month with a three-day event— Dubai Blues Festival beginning from January 27 to 29.
Taking place as a part of the Dubai Shopping Festival, the line-up includes Boney Fields and Lakeetra Knowles performing on January 27, Sax Gordon and Gisele Jackson on January 28 and finally Big Daddy Wilson and Sharrie Williams on January 28, 2022.
While the event is not ticketed, patrons can access the event with online booking of garden tables.
The new venue boasts 1,500 car park spaces, a capacity of holding up to 5000 people, ample food and beverage stations that will serve different cuisines, making it hassle-free and easy for all guests and performers alike.
With a permanent stage, in-house speakers and production facilities, the place in a way helps in reducing the production costs involved. However, an intimate act is needed to make the venue truly shine, say the owners.
