Mireille Salti is an abstract expressionist artist whose work evolves from the groundbreaking pouring art technique. She’s developed a one-of-a-kind method for controlling chemical reactions across materials and combining the random flow of liquid with transitional brushstrokes. A result is a unique place that is bright with color combinations, movement, and her work’s characteristic marks. She is inspired by nature’s patterns and randomness, as well as personal experiences of amazement and surprise. Mireille’s art is driven by the emotional response elicited when the audience connects with her piece.
Mireille Salti decided to use her skills and sense of design to redirect her efforts totally to the fine arts after 7 years in the design business working as an Interior Architect while painting part-time.
In 2021, her artwork was featured in Mojen magazine. She had a solo artist booth at World Art Dubai 2021 for the third year, and her artwork was published in many publications and social media channels.
In 2020, her work was published in Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Arabia magazines, and she took part in the “Women in Art” exhibition in DIFC, in addition to commissioned work that she created in collaboration with interior designers for high-end homes and flats. She exhibited her work at Market Outside the Box during DSF in Dubai in December.
She took part in Art Gap, a Standard Chartered Bank show that aimed to raise awareness about the gender pay gap in the arts. She also showed her paintings at The Pointe Palm Jumeirah’s “Art After Dark” event.
