Valentino has launched a new collection aimed towards the younger generation

On Tuesday, the Valentino Rendez-Vous Spring/Summer 2022 collection pop-up opened in Kingdom Mall in Riyadh, showcasing the label’s characteristic codes including the stud and the V logo. The pop-up pays homage to the collection’s juxtaposition of couture and urban, bridging the gap between the formal and the ordinary.

A see-through structure with LED walls creates a futuristic environment, while the concrete floor adds an industrial sense and complements the collection’s theme of transitioning from indoor to outside. Lime, ultramarine, prune, gingerbread, blooming pale yellow, nero, and ivory make up the vibrant and distinctive palette of the “One Stud” nappa leather purse.With its vibrant colours, the new collection appeals to younger generations, and even resurrects the popular denim handbag from the 1990s.

The “Roman Stud” bag is a contemporary interpretation of the house’s history. It has a soft, structured texture with a row of bright, large studs running down the front of the bag. The “One Stud” heels and sandals, as well as the “Rockstud” heels and strappy sandals, give a modern twist to a classic look. They are available in a wide range of vibrant and classic colours.

Gladiator strappy sandals are back with a twist, thanks to the label’s “One Stud” design, which gives them a sumptuous yet edgy appeal.She described the new collection as “modern” and “fitting for a city lifestyle,” with “a variety of summery colours and basic designs appropriate for everyday usage, as well as designs that would appeal to younger people.” The Valentino Rendez-Vous Spring/Summer 2022 pop-up shop will be open through March 30 at Kingdom Mall.
