DRVN Coffee, Dubai’s well-known automotive-themed café on Bluewaters Island, has intensified its association with Porsche by dubbing it “DRVN by Porsche.” Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, as well as Al Nabooda Automobiles, the official Porsche importer in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, have signed a collaboration deal with DRVN’s management.
Few places have embraced the social and cultural phenomenon of “cars and coffee” more than the United Arab Emirates, combining a love of great coffee made by artisan baristas with rare, classic, and desirable automobiles in a family-friendly setting.
A rotating collection of vintage and unusual automobiles, comparable to those that helped commemorate one of the region’s greatest classic car gatherings, “Icons of Porsche,” will ensure that there is always a reason to visit DRVN by Porsche with its combination of museum and private collectors’ cars. These will set the tone for a number of seasonal activations throughout the year to commemorate major periods such as Ramadan and “Porsche x Art.” One rotation will also lead up to the second installment of Porsche’s “Icons of Porsche,” which will take place at the conclusion of the year.
Rashed Al Fahim, founder of DRVN Coffee and an avid car collector said, “Porsche understands the theme of DRVN Coffee, and our cooperation has been a perfect symbiosis of two like-minded brands since day one.” I’m looking forward to seeing what the next scheduled themes and exhibition cars are. DRVN by Porsche also plans to exhibit the work of area artists such as Dozi Dreams and Rami Afifi, who have already been confirmed to exhibit among the Porsche collection.”
Visitors at DRVN by Porsche will also be able to purchase limited-edition retail items created particularly for this collaboration. On Bluewaters Island, DRVN by Porsche is open from 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, opposite Caesars Palace and in front of Ain Dubai, the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel.
