Previously, during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022, Tourism Malaysia inked a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with Dubai-based Emirates Airline as part of the airline’s recovery and expansion of traffic to Malaysia across its network.
Tourism Malaysia will collaborate with Emirates to explore mutually beneficial initiatives that will drive tourism to Malaysia and provide Emirates with more opportunities to serve the market, such as familiarisation trips, workshops, seminars, digital campaigns, in-flight marketing campaigns, and other marketing programmes, under the terms of this strategic agreement.
At the ATM, the mission’s purpose is to re-establish and enhance the region’s commitment to good tourist cooperation, future partnerships, and improved collaboration with the travel and tourism industry.
Malaysia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which just ended, provides a perfect chance to share its multicultural culture and approach with the rest of the world.
The Malaysian government recognises the need to strengthen international cooperation and multilateralism, as well as promote Malaysia as a member of the world’s large family, in order to ensure full recovery for tourism and other economic sectors.
Malaysia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai gave the country an excellent opportunity to showcase its multicultural identity and approach to the rest of the globe.
