“For a period of two years, I isolated myself from mainstream media frequency generators and listened to binaural beats with subliminal messages” says Camelia

Camelia Mohebi is a visual artist, designer, director, and entrepreneur. Emirati visual artist, designer, director, entrepreneur, and theta art healer, Camelia draws inspiration from people, senses, and the subconscious/emotional mind. She first started expressing herself through art by drawing people and faces.

In combining her knowledge of art, broad life experiences and understanding of the human psyche, she creates unique pieces that make one ponder crucial elements of psychology, theology, physics and metaphysics. Camelia often generates art — be it digitally, on canvas, leather, velvet, wood and mixed medium — using acoustic frequencies and sounds. “Frequencies — created by instruments of man and nature — envelop us. How and to what degree these omitted and received waves affect us is still often hidden or unknown,” says Camelia

“For a period of two years, I isolated myself from mainstream media frequency generators and listened to binaural beats with subliminal messages,” says Camelia and she also mentions how this resulted in major behavioral changes. Before her career as an Emirati artist, she worked in banking and marketing, and had her own children’s brand babybling. Camelia was born in 1978 and studied in Dubai, Tehran, Geneva and London. She holds a BA in Visual Communication minor in Illustration and Graphic Design, and Certificates in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Theta Healing and Art Therapy.
