The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced a partnership with the ‘Hayi’ app to develop community and neighborhood groups for the promotion and sharing of art and cultural activities across the city.
The app, which is a free, local social communication network for Dubai neighborhoods, encourages residents to communicate, endorse, and befriend one another, form groups based on their locations, share common interests and preferences, and start and participate in social initiatives in their neighborhoods.
The collaboration will be carried out in three stages, the first of which will be the construction of a digital “Al Quoz Neighborhood” on the app, which will allow talented people to showcase their work, advertise their products, and share their performances in Al Quoz and other neighborhoods.
The collaboration’s second phase will see the opening of new communities until the entire city is covered, providing each local enterprise unrestricted access to chosen neighborhoods.
The launch of a group function to link talents inside local communities, as well as throughout Dubai, will be covered in the third phase. A calendar of events will also be published, giving talents and businesses a more engaging method to plan their events and stay up to date on what’s new in the area.
