Inauguration festivities for Meta Moina, the first high-fashion and artistic NFT digital space in Bangladesh, were held earlier today in Dhaka at the Bistro E Club room. The first Web 3.0 fashion label in Bangladesh, #1972nineteenseventytwo, launched this original concept store.

Niharika Momtaz, a designer, art enthusiast, and businesswoman from Bangladesh who also founded the website #1972nineteenseventytwo, founded the platform. Meta moina is changing the fashion industry by optimising items via a socially and environmentally conscious viewpoint using Niharika’s series of “Phygital” wearable sculptures.

The fashion industry has drastically changed over the past 12 to 24 months. The fashion brand #1972nineteenseventytwo, which supports Web3.0 and NFTs, aspires to be a part of the subsequent revolution of the digital world.

International designers and NFT artists, such as Bangladeshi artists Fareha Zeba, Md Harun-ar-Rashid, Habiba Nowrose, Mahmuda Siddique, and Afroza Hossain, will be represented by Meta Moina.

Niharika declared: “NFTs would be sold in Dubai at various live and virtual events. Bangladesh does not permit the use of cryptocurrencies, hence Meta Moina will pay Bangladeshi NFT artists in US dollars. By doing this, we will be able to increase our foreign exchange reserves while simultaneously promoting Bangladeshi culture abroad.”
