Cirque Du Liban, a Lebanese production company, will present Fontana at Dubai Festival City Mall from September 29 to October 9.
Thierry Antonios, one of the show’s creators, explains about what to expect throughout its 10-day run, in advance of Fontana’s premiere.
The Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, a well-known landmark where guests frequently throw coins for good fortune, served as the inspiration for the name. By stating that Fontana’s objective—or, more precisely, the wish of its performers—is to create an unforgettable experience for spectators, Antonios connects this act to the show.
Inspiring live entertainment, artistic circus performances, compelling displays, stunning aerialists, water jets with extraordinary effects, music, lights, comedy, dancers, thrills, and more may be seen by visitors. The entire family will be in awe of this event. Antonios, a managing partner of Hat Entertainment, the parent firm of Cirque Du Liban,
The centrepiece of the event will also feature a musical dancing fountain where guests can watch water jets and coloured lights sync to music. The air cube show, which features three aerial acrobats performing in midair, Duo Del Comedia, a Spanish comedy duo, and motorbike daredevils who pull off perilous manoeuvres are other favourites.
Since Saudi Arabia and Lebanon have both seen success with the event in the past, Antonios claims that Dubai was a logical next destination.
Fontana will be held within a huge tent at Festival City Mall with 1,300 seats in the grandstand. There will be two performances every day: a matinee at 3 pm and an evening performance at 6 pm. An average performance lasts for two hours. Antonios claims he is already prepared to bring the play to other emirates even though the first performance has not yet taken place.
The state-of-the-art circus tent and Aquatic Theatre by Fontana are the perfect fit for Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall, and the show’s world-class cast of performers cannot wait to astound and entertain audiences in equal measure.
