Events planned by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) for the winter season of 2022–2023 are expected to generate enthusiasm and improve the destination experience of the UAE capital.
The most recent Abu Dhabi Calendar, which was unveiled at a launch event in the style of a TV talk show, spans 180 days and includes outstanding performances by local and international artists, thrilling sporting and e-sports action, immersive cultural festivals, live interactive family shows, crowd-pleasing concerts, and can’t-miss theatre, opera, and dance performances.
The live performances of Sting, Andrea Bocelli, and A. R. Rahman, the inaugural NBA Abu Dhabi Games, the return of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, featuring UFC 280: OLIVEIRA vs. MAKHACHEV, Disney’s The Lion King, and IIFA Awards Abu Dhabi 2023, are all highly anticipated events on the Abu Dhabi calendar. In March 2023, the Wireless Festival will make its Abu Dhabi premiere for followers of rap and world urban music.
