Google creates an animated Doodle in honour of World Teachers’ Day in 2022

On October 5, the UAE and a large portion of the rest of the world will observe World Teachers’ Day in honour of the crucial role that educators play in fostering innovation. Google will also be observing the day with a Doodle.

The search engine is accessible in the UAE, some regions of the Middle East, and Africa, as well as Canada, the UK, other regions of Europe, Pakistan, the Philippines, Mongolia, and Papua New Guinea, to name a few. The animation, which depicts school supplies and stationery celebrating as confetti falls around them in a classroom, is also available in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries in North America.

This year, different Teachers’ Days have been celebrated on different dates around the world, with the first one taking place in Ecuador on April 13 before proceeding to Mexico, Colombia, and South Korea in May. September included five dates, largely for South American and Taiwanese nations.

Each year, the day is observed in more than 100 nations, and the topic for 2022 is “The revolution of education begins with teachers.”

Emirati instructors in the UAE have attracted a lot of community support and admiration. According to Wam, the number of public school teachers increased by 1,853 percent over the first 50 years of the UAE’s history, from 5,530 in 1975 to 108,020 in 2020.

Although this new animation looks to be accessible on screens around the world, Google frequently commemorates significant historical events, occasions, and accomplishments with its Doodles, which are frequently visible in specific regions.

The search page was recently turned upside down when an animated rendition of NASA’s Dart spacecraft slammed into an asteroid. The Double Asteroid Redirection Test mission of the space agency successfully collided with an asteroid at this precise moment.

On major anniversaries in the region, the search engine has honoured a number of Arab celebrities by enlisting Mena artists to bring them to life.
