The design, museography, and upkeep of the Experience Al Jazeera display, which honors Al Jazeera’s 25th anniversary, are all the responsibility of ACCIONA Cultura. An international team of 80 specialists, including creative professionals, architects, engineers, designers, fit-out subcontractors, media producers, lighting specialists, object mounting specialists, AV specialists, metal specialists, graphic designers, and installers, was assembled by ACCIONA Cultura to deliver the exhibition. They collaborated to highlight Al Jazeera (AJ) from its inception to the present.
The exhibition, which is located in the courtyard of the Doha Fire Station and covers a total space of 780 m2 + 125 m2, charts the development of the Al Jazeera Media Network into a major player in the world of journalism. The layout is a journey through the TV channel’s 25-year history, from its inception to its current multi-media offerings. Cameras and other items connected to broadcast technology are on display. Along with the prizes it has received over the years, it also showcases Al Jazeera’s Wall of Ethics.
Experience Al Jazeera, The Right to Report, People-Focused Stories, News production, Growth and Expansion, and Al Jazeera, 25 Years On are the six categories into which the exhibition is split. A total of 25 audiovisual productions are mixed with original works displayed in each segment.
