This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the Neue Galerie in New York, and to mark the occasion, a number of well-known artists have been asked to participate in a special exhibition. From November 11, 2022, through February 13, 2023, the show is on view. It’s a really cool exhibition since it gives you the chance to see some of the most coveted artworks that Ronald S. Lauder, the co-founder of the Neue Galerie, has acquired.

Beautiful works of art may be found in The Lauder Collection, which has been around for a while. The Neue Galerie has produced an exhibition that emphasizes the collection’s history and the collector’s dedication to quality in celebration of the museum’s twentieth anniversary.

For their twentieth anniversary, Lauder is doing something really unusual: they’re allowing visitors to the museum to view all of their artwork together. Visitors have the chance to view the paintings and learn more about them because some of the pieces in the exhibition are organized similarly to how they would be in Lauder’s home.

To display German and Austrian art from the early 20th century, Lauder and art dealer Serge Sabarsky founded the Neue Galerie.

Art from all across the world is included in The Ronald S. Lauder Collection. Since he first started collecting art as a youngster, Mr. Lauder’s collection has grown to include Old Master paintings as well as pieces by well-known Expressionist and contemporary painters. The museum is filled with many fascinating items. Some of them are rather fresh, while others are quite old. But they’re all pretty cool-looking.

The goddess depicted in this sculpture is from the Hellenistic era. She was once carved into an acrolith, a large-scale figure with her head, hands, and feet carved out of stone. She has very lovely features.

Johann Friedrich the Magnanimous, the Elector of Saxony, is seen in this picture wearing an incredible attire. He is dressed in a red silk and embroidered garment that is heavily embellished with sapphires and pearls.

Infantry armor is quite protective and is constructed of metal and leather. It looks pretty amazing because it is white on the inside and black on the outside. Michael Witz, the Younger, an Austrian armorer, created it in the 1560s. There aren’t many suits like this left in existence today, so if you ever find yourself in a risky position, make sure to defend yourself with it.

This enormous, fifteenth-century tapestry was made in Europe. It measures 9 feet long and approximately 10 feet wide. It depicts individuals engaged in forest labor.

Ronald S. Lauder Collection curator Elizabeth Szancer stated that Ronald has always been an independent artist who has not been influenced by the market. The current exhibition features a range of his extremely imaginative and risk-taking artwork.
