Every year the city is awash with Valentine’s Day experiences, but sometimes one comes along that piques the interest of those seeking something unique. Acclaimed artist and the legend of Hearts, James Goldcrown will bring his unique Love Art to Dubai in a week-long activation which will see him take over the W Dubai – Mina Seyahi.
Flying to Dubai from his hometown of Los Angeles, the artist will undertake a takeover of the W Dubai – Mina Seyahi in collaboration with ArtKōrero, making the hotel ‘the’ place to spend Valentine’s Day. Across a number of activations, including live painting and the creation of his infamous “Love Wall” at Ginger Moon, James will entertain guests who can leave with their very own work of art by the artist.
Taking place on the 14th February, during Sunset Ritual, from 5pm – 7pm, global art superstar, James Goldcrown will create a live piece of art on the Wet Deck of W Dubai – Mina Seyahi’s Ginger Moon. James catapulted to international acclaim when a mural of his now iconic “Love Wall” first appeared in New York and made its way onto Instagram. The post went viral, leading him to his first show at Miami’s Art Basel, where his work sold out within two hours. Now internationally renowned for his Lovewall murals around the world, he has collaborated with a host of international brands such as Estee Lauder, Island Records, Universal, MTV, Vogue, Rimowa, Henri Bendel, Armani and many more. Most recently his work has been seen in the offices of hit TV show, Selling Sunset.
James Goldcrown says of the upcoming collaboration: “I can’t wait to be back in Dubai and painting for visitors. I was blown away by the response to my work in the city and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to come back and create work. I’m a huge fan of the W Dubai – Mina Seyahi and it’s been fun ideating ways to take over the hotel. I look forward to seeing everyone on Valentine’s Day and painting a mural on the wall of the hotel.”

Guests will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with James as he paints at this unique and memorable event. An avid celebrant of both love and art, Goldcrown will create an iconic piece of art, with his famed “Bleeding Hearts” sure to make an appearance.
Valentine’s at Ginger Moon will permanently etch itself into the memory of Dubai’s experiential aficionados – especially if they have a penchant for art! Ginger Moon is a breath-taking location to host this live art performance, with its dreamy Boho, Tulum inspired aesthetic that spills out onto a stunning pool deck, boasting the most incredible views of the marina.
As part of the Sunset Ritual, couples will be served two pitchers of sangria and small bites for AED 120.
If you miss the opportunity to see the live painting on Valentine’s Day, the fun continues with a “Love Party” taking place on Friday, 17th February, from 9pm until late.
