Mr. Sharma says, “My earliest memory of being involved in art was that of creating colours in my veranda out of natural pigments. I was then heavily involved with portraiture.”

The Miniature Artist, Suvigya Sharma, is a notable Indian painter and fashion designer, currently residing in Mumbai, India. His works of art, including Tanjore Paintings, Fresco Work, lifelike portraits, and miniature art, have garnered immense admiration and recognition. In 2012, Sharma’s outstanding contributions to the field of Arts earned him the Bharat Gaurav Award, bestowed upon him by the government of India, for his contribution to Arts.

Mr Sharma says, “My earliest memory of being involved in art was that of creating colours in my veranda out of natural pigments. I was then heavily involved with portraiture.”

He is well known for his art form of 24crt gold Tanjores fused with Miniatures which is a monopoly worldwide. At the same time, he has been restoring Heritages in India & Abroad like the City Palace of Jaipur, Singapore art museum and more. He is also the tycoon of awards like Asia Book Of Records, India Book Of Records, Limca Book of Records, Rajasthan Gaurav Award, Pride of Rajasthan Award, Rajasthan’s Most Powerful ten and the President Award by the Ex-President of India Ramnath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

For him, Painting is “Meditation”. It soothes him to the core, relaxes his mind & soul.

Miniature art, an Indian heritage has lost its traditional value and is gradually being replaced by contemporary art. He wants to keep the miniature art form alive through his works. Being ambitious, he dreams of presenting to the world “A series of Mythological stories” converted into paintings, like the Sampurna “Ramayana or Mahabharata”, doing a deep study on Indian Mythologies. He even holds workshops for the same.

The Miniature Artist, Suvigya Sharma, has earned a reputation for his innovative approach to art by blending traditional elements with contemporary styles, making his works relevant and appealing. His creations have consistently intrigued even the most experienced art connoisseurs, highlighting his exceptional skill and talent in the field. Mr. Sharma’s artworks are a testament to his ability to infuse newness and relevance into traditional art, making him a notable figure in the history of art.

Though Suvigya specializes in miniature art on Pichwais, Tanjores, Piquas, and lifelike portraits, his latest is a collection of NFTs inspired by ‘extinct animal species’.

His new NFT collection is called ‘Perishious’. It is a collection of 11 unique art pieces dedicated to wildlife creatures like the polar bear and the tiger that are on the brink of extinction. The works are set in hyper-realistic palatial 3D backgrounds.

“Through my art, I usually look to transform the face of mythology to make it elemental and contemporary.” Says Mr. Sharma.
