Agnieszka Kotarska is a talented artist with a deep love and appreciation for nature. Born in 1984 in Poland, she developed a passion for drawing at an early age and was surrounded by nature, which played a significant role in shaping her creative instincts. She went on to study Hispanic Philology in Łódź, and eventually moved to Spain, where she currently resides and works.
Despite being primarily self-taught, Kotarska has recently studied under the renowned hyperrealism artist Emanuele Dascanio, which has greatly influenced her technique. She primarily works with graphite and charcoal, which have become her main mediums. Kotarska’s artwork is a blend of figurative realism, fantasy, symbolism, and mystery. She is drawn to themes of metaphysics, spirituality, transcendence, and inner freedom, which have been a part of her life since childhood.
As part of her daily routine, Kotarska practices introspection and meditation, which helps her connect with her inner world and understand the interconnectedness of humanity. Her passion for travel has also allowed her to explore different cultures and continents. During her travels, she has undertaken spiritual retreats in several Eastern countries, always carrying pencil and paper with her to capture her experiences through her art.
Agnieszka Kotarska believes that human beings must discover their infinite potential to connect with their inner world and understand that despite external differences, we are all one. Her artwork reflects this belief, and she uses her creativity to inspire and provoke thought in her viewers. Her work has been featured in various art books and magazines and exhibited in international galleries and museums.
In 2022, Kotarska’s talent was recognized when she won the FWSD Award at ARC Salon and was a finalist in ModPortrait and ARC Salon. With her unique artistic style and deep-rooted passion for nature and spirituality, it is no surprise that Kotarska’s work continues to gain recognition and captivate audiences worldwide.
