He has received several prizes, including the Waai Award in 2021 in the short film category from the Ministry of Health for his short video on how Makkah dealt with COVID-19 during the pandemic. In addition to his accolades, Mal has also collaborated with some of the most prominent officials in the country, including Turki Al-Sheikh, the chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment. Rayan Mal has also been involved in the Riyadh Season and has worked on several creative projects. One of his most notable projects was a movie he shot at Boulevard World, where he showcased the cosplay talent during the festival season. In 2019, Mal’s “Hajj Feelings” short video highlighted the experience of pilgrims and the organization of Saudi officials during Hajj. The video won him an award from the Ministry of Interior in the competition category.
