Siddhartha Saha, a talented artist from Tripura, has made waves in the art world with his remarkable quilling 3D miniature artwork. After gaining recognition in the India Book of Records, Siddhartha is now determined to leave his mark in the Guinness Book of World Records.

His journey with quilling papers began in 2012 when he started creating unique designs that resembled origami but had their own distinctive execution. However, during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, his passion for quilling flourished. With ample time on his hands, Siddhartha seized the opportunity to showcase his hidden talent to the nation. His first attempt at the India Book of Records proved successful, earning him recognition for his exceptional skills in creating quilling 3D miniature artwork. Using only quilling sticks, quilling strips, and glue, Siddhartha masterfully coiled and shaped the paper into various forms such as flowers, trees, and 2D and 3D designs.

Reflecting on his journey, the Tripura artist expressed his newfound dedication to quilling papers. What started as a casual hobby before the lockdown transformed into a serious endeavor that brought him recognition. Despite his busy schedule at the office, Siddhartha devotes more than four hours each day to his quilling artworks in pursuit of the Guinness World Records. He applied for the record last year and received approval, setting his sights on creating a staggering 20,000 quilling hearts for an upcoming three-day exhibition at Lalit Kala Academy, scheduled to begin on May 27.

Working late into the night, Siddhartha pours his heart and soul into his quilling creations. Starting around 8 or 9 pm and sometimes continuing until the early hours of the morning, he tirelessly strives to perfect his art. The project, which he began in January, is a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion.

With his sights set on the Guinness World Records, Siddhartha is ready to push his skills even further and embrace new challenges on his artistic journey. His determination to leave a lasting impression in the art world is a testament to his talent and unwavering commitment to his craft. Siddhartha Saha is a name to watch out for as he continues to captivate audiences with his extraordinarily quilling artwork.
