A fair of South Indian film stars is going to be held in Dubai. The big news for the fans of South Indian film stars of the Arab world is that SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) 2023 is going to be held in Dubai on 15th and 16th September.
The announcement was made by SIIMA Chairperson Brinda Prasad and SIIMA’s official host partner truckers director Vishal Mahajan at the Habtoor palace hotel in Dubai in the presence of South Indian superstars Rana Daggubati and Mrunal Thakur. The 11th edition of SIIMA will be organized colorfully at Dubai World Trade Center on 15th and 16th September 2023. Brinda Prasad said that this 11th edition of SIIMA is going to be very special where stars like Shruti Hasan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Tovino Thomas, Mrunal Thakur, GV Prakash Kumar, Athulya Ravi, Rama Rao, Rana Daggubati, Trisha, Simbu, Yash, Rishab Shetty will walk on the biggest red-carpet show of South Indian cinema. Kreethi Shetty, Honey Rose, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Shanvi will set the stage on fire with their performances.
Vishal Mahajan, Director, Truckers- the official host partner of SIIMA, said that although UAE has been the favorite country for SIIMA, this year’s SIIMA is going to be special. Truckers will use local flavor and advanced technologies at the SIIMA to take the audience to be in a different world. The South film industry and other celebs will huddle under one roof to celebrate the gems of South cinema. The event will be hosted in a grand manner in Dubai.
South Indian International Movie Awards, also known as the SIIMA, reward the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. It was launched in 2012 to appreciate filmmakers from across the South Indian film industries: Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Kannada cinema, and Malayalam cinema, and provide a platform to promote South Indian films in international markets.
