In 2020, his work was featured in “Kissing Through A Curtain” at MASS MoCA in North Adams, USA, and “The Youth Takeover” at Jameel Art Centre in Dubai, UAE. His artistic prowess was also displayed in the “Glass Triennial” at the Sol Koffler Gallery in Providence, USA, and the “_____scapes” exhibition at Gelman Gallery, Providence, USA, both in 2019. In 2017, “Bayn” at Warehouse 421 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and in 2016, “Watering the distant, deserting the near” at Al Riwaq in Bahrain, were further milestones in his flourishing career.
Recognized for his exceptional talent, Alzayani has been the recipient of esteemed residencies, further enriching his artistic journey. In 2017, he was bestowed with the Fundación Casa Wabi x ArtReview Residency, followed by the Villa Lena Foundation Residency in 2018. Currently, he is an artist in residence at the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi, embracing new inspirations and nurturing his craft.
Educationally, Alzayani holds an MFA in Glass from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, a testament to his dedication to honing his skills and exploring innovative mediums.
