The event, themed “1001 Seasons of Elie Saab,” featured a star-studded cast including global icons Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, and Halle Berry, who graced the stage alongside a runway showcasing 300 of Saab’s exquisite designs.
The night opened with a dazzling performance by pop legend Jennifer Lopez, who has frequently donned Saab’s creations, followed by a heartfelt appearance by Oscar-winner Halle Berry in the same gown she wore for her historic 2002 Academy Award win. Berry expressed her joy in meeting Saab for the first time, emphasizing their connection through fashion spanning over two decades.
Celine Dion’s emotional closing performance captivated the audience, reflecting her longstanding admiration for Saab’s artistry. “Being here (in Riyadh) for the first time is kind of a dream come true,” Dion shared, acknowledging Saab’s talent and their shared artistic journey.
The event was styled by former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, who curated a lineup that showcased Saab’s mastery of timeless elegance. Each segment paid homage to different aspects of femininity and culture, from black-and-white crystal-studded dresses to colorful ensembles inspired by nature and Arab heritage, highlighted by performances from stars like Camila Cabello and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram.
