After launching the second capsule under his new Outdoor Supply banner last month, Reese Cooper has unveiled his flagship label’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection titled “En Plein Air” (French for “In the Open Air”).
A Juxtaposition of Silhouettes, Materials, and Context
“In short, a study in juxtaposition between silhouette, material & garment and its context,” Cooper shared on Instagram about the latest collection. This philosophy is evident in the garments, which blend traditional oversized military shapes with modern utility. The collection includes woven houndstooth fabric for oversized military jackets, three-layer waterproof nylon used in trench coats and tailored trousers, and wool double-breasted blazers filled with adjustable bungee cords typically found in tactical gear.
Other pieces, like quarter-zip hoodies, showcase asymmetrical zippers that add a curvy silhouette also Denim sets emphasize spacious storage pockets, while fleece jackets come with utility belts across the chest, ensuring practicality meets style in every piece.
A Deep Connection to Nature
As usual, Cooper shot the collection’s lookbook himself, taking a long eight-hour round trip drive to the exact spot that inspired the collection. This location, along the side of a road, became the point of inspiration for Cooper’s designs late last year, also The collection is clearly a product of his deep connection with nature, using colors and textures inspired by the outdoors as well as These garments are not just stylish; they’re designed for a life spent outdoors, ready for adventure and exploration.
