G-SHOCK has unveiled the Oasis Series, a fresh take on its iconic GA-2100 and GA-110 lines. Featuring bold blue-green hues, this collection reimagines classic models with a design inspired by natural landscapes. The series includes four new variants: GA-2100AS-2A, GA-2100AS-5A, GA-110AS-2A, and GA-110AS-5A, available in striking blue and white colorways.
A Legacy of Durability and Design
Originally launched in 2010, the GA-110 introduced a hyper-industrial large case design, pushing the boundaries of analog watch aesthetics. Its oversized structure and bold detailing emphasized a unique, three-dimensional visual appeal. In contrast, the GA-2100 offers a more streamlined approach. As the successor to the legendary DW-5000C, it features a slim, octagonal case and a refined dial with three-dimensional molding.
Both models integrate a carbon core guard structure, while the case, bezel, and strap incorporate bio-based resin for enhanced durability and lightweight comfort. Designed for both marine and land sports, these watches maintain G-SHOCK’s signature toughness while embracing modern, eco-friendly materials.
Oasis-Inspired Aesthetics
The Oasis Series takes inspiration from serene natural environments, including desert landscapes and multicolored bodies of water. This influence is evident in the soft-washed blue-green gradient on the dial, hour markers, and indices, creating a visually dynamic and refreshing look.
Performance and Features
Staying true to G-SHOCK’s commitment to functionality, the new models retain essential performance features:
- 20-bar water resistance and shock resistance for durability in extreme conditions.
- Countdown timer and multiple time zones for global versatility.
- GA-2100AS-5A & GA-2100AS-2A: Five daily alarms, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a Super Illuminator LED, and world time across 30 zones.
- GA-110AS-2A & GA-110AS-5A: A 1/1000-second stopwatch and LED display.
