At Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025, Piaget once again reaffirms its horological mastery by unveiling a series of timepieces that pay tribute to the Maison’s iconic legacy while embracing bold innovation. The showcase highlights a revival of the 1960s and 1980s design ethos, introducing the captivating Sixtie collection, a reimagined Polo 79 in white gold, and new additions to the Andy Warhol watch line.
Together, these releases illustrate Piaget’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, artistic expression, and timeless elegance.
Sixtie Collection: Avant-Garde Design with a 60s Soul
Drawing inspiration from the flamboyant energy of the late 1960s and early 1970s, the new Sixtie watches embody Piaget’s inventive spirit through their trapeze-shaped cases. The design references the iconic trapeze dress by Yves Saint Laurent and revisits Piaget’s legacy in crafting watches that double as statement jewelry.
These timepieces feature supple bracelets with interlaced trapeze-shaped links, enhancing flexibility and movement. Intricate gadroon detailing on the bezel and a satin-finished dial with Roman numerals, golden hour markers, and baton hands reflect the collection’s refined yet daring appeal. The design recalls the same spirit found in pieces once worn by Andy Warhol, blending vintage influences with contemporary artistry.
Polo 79 in White Gold: Sporty Elegance Reimagined
Following the success of the yellow gold edition in 2024, Piaget introduces the Polo 79 in white gold—crafted from 18k gold and weighing a mere 200 grams. The updated model maintains the Maison’s signature gadroon motifs across the bracelet, dial, and case, and reflects the glamour of the 1980s with a modern twist.
With minimalist dotted hour markers and dauphine hands accenting a clean dial, the watch is driven by the in-house 1200P1 self-winding movement, visible through its transparent caseback. Encased in a slim 38mm housing just 7.45mm thick, it offers shockproof and waterproof protection—hallmarks of what Piaget continues to call “the world’s ultimate sports watch.”
Andy Warhol Watch: Opulent Artistry in High Jewelry
A tribute to Piaget’s connection with the pop art legend, the Andy Warhol watch returns with dazzling new iterations. The High Jewelry edition features a 45mm gadroon bezel in gold, adorned with triple rows of baguette-cut blue sapphires and centered around a striking opal dial. Its vivid green and blue tones evoke Yves Piaget’s passion for gemstones and ornamental stones.
The collection also welcomes a tiger’s eye model, known for its deep amber tones and golden streaks. These join previous meteorite dial variants in blue, green, and white. All models are powered by Piaget’s 501P1 Manufacture self-winding movement and are available with a variety of customizable features—including 10 ornamental dial stones, several strap colors, and a choice between baton or dauphine hands.
With each new release, Piaget continues to blur the lines between haute horology and wearable art, echoing the Maison’s enduring creative philosophy.
