Maserati has officially unveiled the MCPURA, a striking new supercar, at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Offered in both coupé and convertible (Cielo) variants, the MCPURA blends high performance with advanced design, reinforcing the Italian marque’s dedication to innovation and craftsmanship.
Over 620 horsepower with refined Italian engineering
At the core of the MCPURA is Maserati’s in-house Nettuno twin-turbocharged V6, producing 621 hp. Combined with a lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque, the car delivers an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 5 lb/hp, ensuring thrilling acceleration and responsive handling.
The coupé features dramatic butterfly doors, while the Cielo convertible boasts a PDLC glass roof that can switch from opaque to transparent in just one second. These features elevate both the driving experience and the visual appeal of the vehicle.
Fuoriserie customisation and design innovation
The debut MCPURA model appeared in Ai Aqua Rainbow, a shimmering blue hue developed with Maserati’s Officine Fuoriserie customisation programme. The interior reflects the same attention to detail, with laser-etched Alcantara seats and magenta accents evoking a futuristic, handcrafted style.
Buyers can choose from more than 30 exterior colour options, including bold new shades such as Devil Orange and Verde Royale. Maserati has dubbed this philosophy “E = MCPURA,” symbolising the transformation of energy into elegant, dynamic performance.
Made in Modena, built for the future
The MCPURA is produced at Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena, Italy, affirming the brand’s connection to its motorsport roots. Deliveries are expected to begin later in 2025.
With the MCPURA, Maserati sets a new benchmark for performance and luxury, fusing innovation, Italian design, and racing DNA into one exceptional package.
