The long-rumored Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 “Fire Red” made its first public appearance at the Evo fighting game tournament, where gaming legend SonicFox wore the unreleased pair while winning their eighth Evo title. This iteration features a white forefoot, red midfoot Swooshes outlined in mustard yellow, and a dark gray Shox heel unit, with white extending across the outsole. While Nike has yet to confirm a release date, the sneakers are still expected to arrive in fall 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $205 USD.
Two Bold Colorways Coming
Alongside “Fire Red,” the collaboration will also include a “Metallic Platinum” edition. This second style pairs a metallic upper with subtle red highlights for a futuristic touch. Both colorways keep the MR4’s elongated pointed-toe silhouette, exaggerated Shox cushioning, and synthetic leather upper, blending high-fashion flair with performance-inspired elements.
From Runway to Cult Status
First unveiled at Martine Rose’s Spring/Summer 2023 show in London, the Shox MR4 quickly became a cult favorite for its daring hybrid design. By combining dress shoe styling with Nike Shox technology, Rose has redefined what a performance-inspired sneaker can look like — ensuring these upcoming releases will be among the season’s most talked-about drops.
