Carhartt WIP, the European casualwear line born from the iconic American workwear brand Carhartt, has launched a new T-shirt collection featuring the creative graphics of New York-based artist okniceok.
About the Artist: okniceok’s Distinctive Style
Known for his hybrid artistic approach, okniceok blends the raw energy of line drawings with the meticulous detail of hyper-realism, often introducing a subtle glitch aesthetic. His works frequently reinterpret “light” motifs such as childhood TV characters, pixelated gaming visuals, and clip art, resulting in imagery that feels both nostalgic and surreal.
Collection Details: Three Designs with Unique Narratives
The new collection features three T-shirt designs, each available for both men and women.
- Two monochrome designs come with a Carhartt WIP logo on the front chest, styled with print-press lettering. The backs showcase okniceok’s detailed pencil collages, telling different visual stories.
- One design illustrates a whimsical carnival scene, complete with animals frolicking among Greek-style columns and ornate details.
- Another depicts smiling characters and floral elements, evoking the freshness of spring.
- The women’s edition introduces a mosaic-style graphic combining angels, candlesticks, and jack-o’-lanterns, delivering an autumn-inspired vibe.
Availability and Where to Buy
The Carhartt WIP x okniceok T-shirt collection is currently available through the official Carhartt WIP online store. Although there are no confirmed plans for a Japanese release, fans can browse the collection’s visuals via the photo gallery and stay tuned for future updates.
