COS presented its FW25 collection at New York Fashion Week at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, showcasing 47 looks that fuse minimalist sophistication with subtle seasonal warmth. Designed to be age-agnostic, the collection emphasises clean lines, refined silhouettes, and contemporary cuts, updated with textures and materials evocative of classic Autumn wardrobe staples.
A muted palette of black, charcoal, and deep sea navy anchors the collection, allowing a focus on the diversity of silhouettes—from sharp, structured tailoring to softly draped garments. Cozy textures and tactile fabrics such as checks, shearling, basketweave knits, and chenille add depth and warmth, balancing austere minimalism with seasonal comfort.
COS’s FW25 designs explore contrasts between modern austerity and nostalgic elegance. A collarless, buttonless black suit embodies futuristic restraint, while flowing capes, robe collars, and sculptural drapes evoke aristocratic or ascetic references. The interplay of matte and lustrous fabrics enhances both visual and tactile interest, creating garments that are striking yet versatile.
The FW25 collection is now available at COS stores and on cos.com, with limited drops continuing throughout the season. This season, COS affirms its ethos of understated sophistication, demonstrating that minimalist design can be both modern and deeply rooted in seasonal sensibilities.
