As Expo 2020 Dubai draws to a close and the weather heats up, the team has constructed The Family Place, a new indoor entertainment area for kids. The arena, which is located next to Al Forsan Park, opened on Saturday. It has a family-friendly café and children’s activities.
Maker Racer is a game for kids aged 7 to 14, in which they may design their own little car out of natural and recycled materials, then play with it on jump tracks while a leaderboard keeps track of the best times. There’s also The Story Place, where tales relating to Expo’s major themes of opportunity, mobility, and sustainability are brought to life through animated displays in Arabic and English. After the show, there are also craft activities based on the storey.
“The Family Place was created with the needs of families visiting Expo 2020 in mind,” says the statement “According to John Bull, the Sustainability Pavilion’s director. Our inventive and playful experiences, all carefully intended to foster creative thinking, will delight children. Parents will appreciate the opportunity to take a cup of coffee and a healthy lunch while their children are free to express themselves.
The Desert Farm is close to Latifa’s Adventures, a space-themed park with a copy of the United Arab Emirates’ Hope Probe. Hammour House, a community art initiative in the Opportunity District, invites young visitors to explore life underwater while drawing inspiration from the story of Abdullah the Fisherman and Abdullah the Merman from the One Thousand and One Nights.
