The 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi Art fair is expected to be the biggest and most varied one yet. This year’s art festival will feature 78 galleries from 27 different nations and run from November 16 to 20 at Manarat Al-Saadiyat. In addition to the involvement of 33 new galleries, a record 45 galleries from the previous edition will return for the forthcoming edition.
As this year’s industry guest curators and collaborators for galleries at the fair, Abu Dhabi Art will also warmly welcome art historian Rachida Triki, gallerist Jade Yeşim Turanl, and arts writer Riccarda Mandrini.
Visitors, art enthusiasts, and collectors will have the chance to tour galleries featuring works by artists from the US, Italy, Colombia, South Korea, France, Denmark, and India, in addition to regional and local galleries and artists.
Since the initial fair in 2007, Abu Dhabi Art has been a vital part of the emirates’ larger art eco-system, feeding the region’s desire for art. We have been successful in fostering domestic talent throughout the years in addition to supporting the development of the nation’s cultural and creative industries, according to a statement from Dyala Nusseibeh, director of Abu Dhabi Art.
“We also continue to enable diverse perspectives to be present at the fair, ensuring that Abu Dhabi Art continues to be a place of discovery for our art collectors and wider public,” she continued. “We do this through collaborations with guest curators such as Rachida Triki, Jade Yeşim Turanl, and Riccarda Mandrini.
