Acne Studios has reunited with the beloved world of Tove Jansson’s Moomins for a second collaborative capsule, launching as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection. Building on the success of their debut partnership in November 2024, the Swedish fashion label once again taps into the playful, nostalgic universe of the Scandinavian literary icons.
This new 16-piece unisex collection blends apparel and accessories, infused with bold colour palettes and iconic Moomin characters including Little My, Snorkmaiden, Stinky, and the Hattifatteners. Each piece captures the Moomins’ whimsical spirit while staying true to Acne Studios’ design language, offering a balance between fashion-forward style and lighthearted charm.
A Whimsical Twist on Acne Classics
Part of Acne Studios’ ongoing “Face” series, the FW25 drop features a range of jersey, denim, and knitwear items adorned with embroidered patches and printed sketches of the animated characters. Standout items include updated versions of the brand’s 1981 jeans, striped shirtings, and sweaters, all reimagined through the lens of Moomin Valley’s enchanting world.
The capsule also introduces footwear to the collaboration for the first time. A pair of lace-up sneakers—marked with Acne’s signature Face logo—gets a whimsical upgrade through removable metal Moomin patches, adding a collectible quality to the design.
