Adeera, a hotel management company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Architecture and Design Commission (ADC) to integrate Saudi cultural heritage into its hospitality brands. This partnership aligns with the King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism and reflects Adeera’s goal of creating hotel experiences that honor Saudi identity.

At the same time, the agreement reinforces ADC’s commitment to advancing architecture and design while supporting local talent. By working together, both organizations will focus on key areas that promote innovation and cultural enrichment in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector.

Adeera: Key Areas of Cooperation

  1. Bringing Saudi Identity into Hotel Design
Adeera and ADC will collaborate to ensure that Adeera’s hotels reflect the values of the King Salman Urban Charter. To achieve this, they will incorporate Saudi cultural and urban identity into architectural and interior design elements.
  2. Educational and Awareness Programs
In addition to design integration, the partnership will introduce workshops and awareness initiatives for architects and designers. These programs will explore how Saudi heritage influences modern design while following industry regulations.
  3. Empowering Local Designers
Furthermore, Adeera and ADC will support Saudi designers by recommending them for hotel design projects. Their work will include culturally inspired industrial products that showcase Saudi craftsmanship and creativity.

As a result of these initiatives, the MoU establishes a framework for ongoing collaboration in architecture and hospitality. This agreement not only strengthens Adeera’s position as a leader in the hospitality industry but also advances ADC’s mission to promote Saudi Arabia’s architectural and design landscape.

Leadership Perspectives

Stefan Leser, CEO of Adeera, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “We are committed to embedding Saudi heritage into Adeera’s hotel brand identity. By drawing inspiration from our culture and supporting local talent, we aim to create hospitality experiences that tell a meaningful story.”

Similarly, Dr. Sumaya Al-Solaiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Commission, added, “This collaboration ensures Saudi identity is reflected in architecture and design while empowering local creatives. By integrating heritage into hotel projects, we contribute to sustainability and strengthen the Kingdom’s global creative presence.”

Ultimately, this partnership sets new standards for Saudi-inspired hospitality. By blending tradition with modern innovation, Adeera and ADC are shaping the future of the country’s hospitality sector while preserving its rich cultural identity.
