adidas and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team have unveiled their 2026 teamwear collection, signaling a measured evolution in the second year of their collaboration. Rather than expanding conventional fan merchandise, the new lineup focuses on role-specific performance apparel engineered for drivers, engineers, and mechanics. As a result, the collection reflects a more professionalized approach to team identity at the highest level of motorsport.

While the visual language remains anchored in the team’s established color palette, it introduces an engineered hexagon print. This motif reinforces themes of unity and technical precision, aligning the design narrative with Formula 1’s data-driven environment.

Role-specific apparel and functional design

At the core of the release is the authentic driver jersey, which incorporates CLIMACOOL technology to support comfort in high-pressure paddock conditions. Meanwhile, the engineering uniform shifts decisively from last season’s white base to predominantly black, allowing sponsor and team branding to stand out more sharply.

For mechanics, silhouettes have been refined to accommodate constant movement. Curved teal graphics and updated construction support the physical demands of pit-lane operations, emphasizing efficiency and visibility. Consequently, each segment of the collection addresses a distinct operational need rather than aesthetic uniformity alone.

Footwear and commercial positioning

Beyond apparel, the footwear range is led by a reworked Ultraboost 5. The model features a teal-to-black gradient and glossy silver Three Stripes, blending performance technology with visual cues tied to the team’s identity. In turn, the shoe extends the partnership’s design language beyond the paddock and into lifestyle use.

The full adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team collection is available now through adidas, the team’s official online platforms, and select global retailers. Together, the release underscores how technical sportswear and elite motorsport branding continue to converge as commercially significant assets.
