The adidas Megaride franchise is making a powerful return. With the unveiling of the Megaride AG, adidas continues to expand its retro-futuristic lineup—this time spotlighting lifestyle versatility and enhanced cushioning.
First previewed by Tyler “Arab Lincoln” Mansour, this latest silhouette hints at what fans can expect from the Megaride’s next evolution. Although only 60 pairs of the sample colorway were produced, the design provides a compelling glimpse into the upcoming release, expected later this year.
A Bold Entry Into the Lifestyle Category
While much of the recent buzz around adidas has revolved around football-rooted sneakers—like the Samba and cleat-inspired designs—the Megaride series is carving its own lane. Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the line has recently seen renewed attention through high-profile collaborations, including partnerships with AVAVAV and Taqwa Bint Ali.
Now, the Megaride AG is pushing the franchise further. This version features signature tunnel-like structures at the midsole, delivering lightweight cushioning and a springy underfoot feel. The upper combines a mesh base with streamlined overlays, complemented by the iconic Three Stripes on both sides.
Release Details Still Under Wraps
Despite the growing excitement, adidas has yet to confirm an official release date for the Megaride AG. However, anticipation is building. With lifestyle-focused design cues and performance-backed features, this model is poised to become a standout in adidas’ upcoming seasonal drops.
Sneaker enthusiasts and casual fans alike should keep an eye out for updates. The Megaride AG will likely hit shelves at adidas stores and select retailers before the end of 2025.
