Aēsop has introduced its latest fragrance, “Aurner,” the twelfth addition to its Eau de Parfum collection. Following the success of “Virēre” launched last summer, “Aurner” presents an unconventional floral scent that combines strength and tenderness.

An Unconventional Floral Scent
Created in collaboration with Céline Barel, “Aurner” defies traditional floral fragrance expectations. It features a unique blend of magnolia leaf, Roman chamomile, and cedar heart, creating a tea-like, unorthodox aroma. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes, enhanced by a fresh spice combination of cardamom and pink pepper. Roman chamomile adds a sweet, herbaceous undertone, completing the opening.
Floral Heart and Woody Base
As the fragrance develops, the floral core emerges. Magnolia leaf’s soft scent mingles with fresh geranium, while cardamom deepens the experience against a woody backdrop. The base notes include sandalwood, cypriol heart, and cedar heart, which ground the fragrance’s intensity with a richly textured woody finish.
A Name That Embodies Beauty
The name “Aurner” comes from an Old Norse verb meaning “to be adorned and to be embellished with flowers,” which reflects the fragrance’s ability to enrobe the skin and empower the wearer. To complement the scent, Aēsop collaborated with Bangkok-based fine jewelry designer Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura, who crafted an ear cuff that embodies the fragrance’s complex emotional nuances.
Availability and Pricing
The fragrance will launch on February 24, available for purchase at Aēsop for $1,500 HKD (approx. $193 USD). The special ear cuff, crafted by Bodiratnangkura, will also be available for $3,000 HKD (approx. $385 USD) exclusively at Aēsop’s Hong Kong locations in ifc Mall and Harbour City.
