Al Habtoor Palace Dubai has entered the cultural spotlight with the launch of its first fine art exhibition, Dreams of Spring. In partnership with Andakulova Gallery and Legends Art Club, and under the esteemed patronage of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dubai, the exhibition showcases a vivid collection of contemporary Central Asian artworks.
This initiative signals more than just an exhibition—it marks the beginning of the hotel’s journey into the world of fine arts. Through Dreams of Spring, Al Habtoor Palace positions itself as a creative hub in Dubai’s thriving cultural landscape. Moreover, the exhibition highlights artistic voices from a region that remains underrepresented in mainstream galleries, thereby expanding the dialogue within the city’s art scene.
Exclusive Opening Night with Culinary Flair
The exhibition will officially launch with an exclusive evening event on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 7 PM. Hosted at BQ – French Kitchen and Bar within the hotel, the event promises a refined experience where art meets fine dining. Guests will enjoy a specially curated menu designed to mirror the emotive and thematic depth of the artworks on display.
Stefan Radstrom, Cluster General Manager of the Al Habtoor Collection of Hotels, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We are excited to showcase the magnificent artistic brilliance at Al Habtoor Palace Dubai. Dreams of Spring lets us debut in the stream of fine arts and serves as a springboard to position the property as a creative landmark in Dubai. Also, with the support of Andakulova Gallery, Legends Art Club, and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, we aim to host an experience that converses with the soul of our guests.”
A Celebration of Central Asian Artistry
Dreams of Spring features three acclaimed artists whose work explores heritage, mythology, and emotion through diverse mediums:
Timur D’Vatz presents intricate, symbol-rich paintings inspired by Byzantine and medieval aesthetics, creating narratives that stimulate both mind and spirit. In contrast, Timur Akhmedov unveils emotionally charged pieces that delve into the human condition using bold colour and psychological depth. Meanwhile, Alfiz Sabirov blends traditional motifs with modern sculpture, offering tactile expressions of Central Asia’s cultural legacy.
These artists collectively deliver an exhibition that goes beyond visual appreciation, encouraging a reflective and emotional journey for each viewer.
Starting April 25, 2025, the exhibition will open to the public for one month. Art collectors, enthusiasts, and cultural patrons are invited to explore this celebration of identity, history, and artistic evolution. Through this thoughtful initiative, Al Habtoor Palace not only embraces creative diversity but also reinforces Dubai’s status as a dynamic cultural destination.
