Aldar has announced the launch of Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, introducing a new ultra-prime residential development in Abu Dhabi. The project combines the heritage of the Baccarat brand with the cultural positioning of Saadiyat Cultural District, while targeting international high-net-worth buyers.
The development will comprise 77 residences, including two- and three-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom sky villas, and two penthouses. Each home integrates immersive design narratives and craftsmanship, while Baccarat crystal elements feature throughout the shared living spaces.
Moreover, the residences overlook the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Arabian Sea. At the same time, the location places residents at the intersection of cultural assets, coastlin,e and premium hospitality infrastructure.
Importantly, the project represents the final residential launch within the Saadiyat Grove district. As a result, buyers gain access to a limited residential supply in one of Abu Dhabi’s flagship cultural destinations. In addition, residents will be located close to the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and international education institutions.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Saadiyat Grove retail and dining destination will introduce approximately 60,000 square metres of luxury commercial space adjacent to the project.

The development marks the first residential project in the UAE by Sou Fujimoto Architects. Accordingly, the architectural concept reflects the studio’s approach to integrating nature and built form.
In particular, the design draws inspiration from Saadiyat Island’s natural shoreline. Consequently, two curved buildings emerge, forming a sculptural profile and a continuous visual transition between the skyline and the sea.
A comprehensive amenities programme supports the project’s positioning in the ultra-luxury segment. For example, residents will have access to a private spa and wellness centre, fitness facilities, treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, and a rain room.
In addition, an outdoor infinity pool and private cabanas sit within landscaped gardens. Furthermore, a 24-hour concierge and valet service will manage daily requirements, private dining requests, and travel arrangements.
At the same time, residents will receive access to brand-led events, private shopping experiences, and design guidance relating to crystal, lighting, and interiors.
The interior design has been developed by StudioPCH. As a result, the residences reflect a neoclassical influence balanced with modern functionality. Moreover, owners may choose between light and dark interior palettes, while selected units offer bespoke customization.
