Alina Supernova the Ukrainian virtuoso, a versatile artist excelling as a violinist, DJ and music producer, boasts an impressive 20 years of playing and 9 years of performing. As a member of The Sunshine Mystics, she infuses world music with chill-out and psy-trance elements.
Alina orchestrates memorable experiences. Her journey began in Ukraine, progressing from music college to a conservatory and playing all across the world.Alina’s extensive experience includes performances in China, India, Oman and Italy.
During her first years as a solo artist she realized that people see violin as a solely classical instrument that should be used for soft, lounge and classical music. She made it her mission to successfully combine classical instrument with electronic music and conquer new stages around the world. Now it allows her to perform as a solo DJ and violinist on the best stages of UAE and abroad and produce electronic music with classical touch that helps her to build a fan base on Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud and Instagram as Alina Supernova.
She graced many of the UAE’s prominent stages including but not limited to Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix, Kaynouna Festival, Dubai International Boat Show, Dubai Horse Racing World Cup, Atlantis The Royal Hotel, One and Only Zabeel Hotel Opening Ceremony, performed in one of the special concerts in TODA Dubai, as part of a band playing original meditative music, and many world-class venues in the region.
When not performing all over the MENA region Alina co-founded and runs an events and artist agency start-up, BlackGinger.ae.
