AMIRI’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection brings to life a fictional setting called Chateau AMIRI, where timeless elegance meets the ease of hotel living. Shown at Paris Fashion Week, the new line transitions from the energetic nightlife of last season’s Club AMIRI to a lighter, more serene moment—the morning after. This season offers a unique blend of loungewear and tailoring, evoking a sense of effortless luxury under clear skies.
Hotel Living Meets Artistic Storytelling
The inspiration for the collection comes from the idea of a hotel as a cultural crossroads. Designer Mike Amiri imagines Chateau AMIRI as a meeting place where personal style and artistic expression converge. One key influence is Wes Lang, an artist whose drawings—originally created during his stay at the Chateau Marmont—appear across the collection. His bird motifs are reinterpreted through embroidery, jacquard fabrics, and botanical beading, weaving natural symbols into wearable pieces.
Throughout the collection, AMIRI plays with contrasts. Silk smoking jackets, feather trims, and ruffled tuxedo shirts create a dressed-up look, while monogrammed robes, slippers, and tassels add a lounge-inspired charm. This balance reflects the brand’s signature Los Angeles aesthetic, which fuses vintage glamour with modern ease. The colour palette includes soft, sun-bleached tones like mint, raspberry, pale blue, and gold, mirroring a life lived in sunlight.
Elegant Womenswear and Relaxed Accessories
The SS26 show also introduced an expanded womenswear range, defined by graceful and modern silhouettes. Standout pieces include:
- Open-knit dresses with flowing lines
- Silk tailoring in jewel tones
- Lace panels inspired by delicate lingerie
Accessories supported the collection’s laidback luxury theme. Highlights included the new Honey bag, crafted in crocodile-embossed suede and soft leather, and slipper-style moccasins that echo upscale hotel comfort.
Held at Le Carreau du Temple, the runway transformed into a lush courtyard complete with fountains and greenery. This immersive setting also captured the creative spirit behind Chateau AMIRI—a place where diverse styles, people, and stories naturally come together.
