The Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia boasts a long list of Guinness World Records, including the record for the most simultaneous holograms, often known as pepper’s ghost illusions.
But the season, which began four months ago and included a range of entertainment activities such as games, exhibitions, and concerts, set not one, but four new records.
On January 14, the inaugural Guinness World Record was set at a Mohammed Abdu event, where 100 songs were recorded utilizing holographic technology. Before the real artist was unveiled, five hologram copies of the Saudi singer appeared on stage.
The largest Formula One car made of Lego bricks was displayed at the Riyadh Motor Show, setting a new record. The piece was first built in Jeddah in September to coincide with the city’s Formula One event and took a week to build out of 500,000 Lego pieces.
Another two world records were set in the realm of gaming, with the world’s largest slide in Riyadh City Boulevard. This was in addition to having the most tracks of its sort in the gaming industry. The enormous slide’s highest point is 22,136 meters high, and its length is projected to be 117 meters long, with a width of 56.5 meters and 24 tracks.
