Giorgio Armani has unveiled a formalwear collection specially designed for Italy’s Juventus F.C., blending Italian sartorial expertise with football heritage. The capsule wardrobe, aimed at the team’s off-pitch events, features hybrid suits, soft trousers, and an assortment of tops in a signature midnight-blue palette, reflecting Armani’s timeless aesthetic.
The collection includes crêpe and water-repellent cashmere suits styled with overshirts, as well as lightweight wool T-shirts, polos, and rollnecks. Armani’s fully deconstructed jackets and relaxed trousers fuse casual ease with formal sophistication. For more formal occasions, the midnight-blue suit is paired with a crisp white shirt and a jacquard-logo tie, balancing elegance and comfort.
A Legacy of Football Collaborations
Armani succeeds Loro Piana, who provided Juventus’ formalwear in the 2022-23 season. The brand’s connection to Italian football spans decades, beginning with its first partnership during the 1994 World Cup and continuing with outfits for the Italian national team at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
This collaboration highlights the label’s ongoing commitment to bridging fashion with sports culture, positioning Juventus’ off-field image with the same precision and style as the team exhibits on the pitch.
Looking Ahead
The formalwear launch aligns with Armani’s broader calendar, as the luxury house gears up for Milan Fashion Week. On September 28, Armani will mark its 50th anniversary with a special evening runway at Palazzo Brera, following two Emporio Armani shows on September 25.
